About The Position
Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 2-South Medical/Surgical Unit in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This is a Flexi/PRN position on the night shift. The 24-bed unit serves adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients. It cares for medical and gynecologic overflow patients and handles a variety of surgical cases, including abdominal, endoscopic, ENT, general, gynecologic, ophthalmic, orthopedic, thoracic, urologic, vascular, and plastic surgeries. Medical patients may be admitted with CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, atrial fibrillation, or chest pain. Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing is required; students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program may also apply.
- Registered nursing license is required; students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License may also apply.
- BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
