About The Position

The Registered Nurse Specialty Float at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, delivers compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with safety standards and organizational expectations. The nurse coordinates a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, holistic care focused on clinical outcomes; monitors and interprets patient conditions; communicates proactively with the medical team and documents care precisely; and develops and manages discharge plans to support safe transitions from hospital to home. The position is full-time on the day shift in the Specialty Float department.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure required before the hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience in an ICU or ED.
