About The Position

The Registered Nurse Float Specialty delivers compassionate, high-quality direct nursing care with patient comfort and clinical excellence at the forefront. The role manages patients’ care journeys by documenting clinical progress, executing physician and nursing orders, and updating the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care. The nurse coordinates care across clinical disciplines, advocates for patients, assesses their changing needs, and collaborates with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans and support safe, efficient recovery and transitions of care.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse credential required before the hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of the hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support certification; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
