About The Position

The Acute Rehab Registered Nurse provides nursing care in an acute rehabilitation setting in Brownsburg, Indiana. The RN organizes and delivers care for a group of patients with needs of varying complexity, plans and assesses care in accordance with hospital and department policies, provides basic bedside care, and documents patient progress, completed care, and interventions. The role also supports a positive and inclusive environment that fosters emotional well-being.

This is a 13-week staffing assignment. The posting seeks two night-shift RNs and lists a tentative start of ASAP. The schedule includes every-other-weekend work and holidays.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• Two years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly.
• Active BLS certification.
• Physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver care for a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
• Plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care according to hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Document patient progress, completed care, and interventions in compliance with facility policies.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters emotional well-being.
• Take vital signs and administer medication as appropriate.
