About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Medical Specialty Unit at Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland. This part-time position is scheduled for 24 hours per week on the night shift, predominantly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The selected candidate must be flexible to assist with day shift. Weekend and holiday work is required according to department guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Candidates with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may be considered with relevant experience if they commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire.
At least one year of experience.
Acute care experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Collaborative approach to patient care.
Commitment to patient advocacy.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Compassionate and caring approach.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the Medical Specialty Unit.
Partner collaboratively in patient care and advocate for patients.
