Medical Specialty Unit (MSU) - Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time - 24 hours per week - Night Shift - Union Hospital (Maryland)
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Medical Specialty Unit at Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland. This is a part-time position for 24 hours per week on the night shift, predominantly 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The selected candidate must also be flexible to assist on day shift. Weekend and holiday requirements follow department guidelines. The role calls for a collaborative approach to patient care, commitment to patient advocacy, strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, and a compassionate, caring approach. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Applicants with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may be considered with relevant experience if they commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire.
- At least one year of experience required.
- Acute care experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Collaborative approach to patient care.
- Commitment to patient advocacy.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Medical Specialty Unit.
- Advocate for patients and collaborate in their care.
- Be flexible to assist with day-shift coverage as needed.
