About The Position

American Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for residents. Nurses use their clinical skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. The role offers full-time and part-time shifts on days, evenings, or nights. The RN helps create a comforting and engaging atmosphere, promotes teamwork and coordinated care, and supports a respectful and positive work environment. Requirements

Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Demonstrate supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
Work with the team toward excellent resident care.
Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
