About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to patients admitted to a nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care. The role includes planning and coordinating care, interdisciplinary and discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. Other related duties may be assigned, including Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Requirements

• Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
