About The Position

Elara Caring is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide home health care. The nurse assesses patients’ care needs, completes initial and ongoing assessments, provides care in accordance with plans of care and physician orders, monitors patients and reports changes, and educates patients and families. The role helps ensure quality, safe, continuous care while protecting patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA. Travel is required between patient homes and assigned work locations in Southwest Houston, Medical Center, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, and Sugar Land.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
