About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The role provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is in Cardiology on a day schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. It has the only adult Level I Trauma Center and the first and only Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in southern Dallas, along with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation programs. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN experience.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
