Registered Nurse (RN) / Heart & Vascular ICU
About The Position
The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates and directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly or indirectly impacts patient outcomes and the care provided to patients, families, and significant others.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Ohio RN license.
- Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong organization skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Previous hospital-based RN experience preferred.
