REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - ED HOLDS
About The Position
Texoma Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for ED Holds. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule, with opportunities for overtime and coverage of various shifts for nurses who are interested. The nurse provides safe, competent patient care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, and provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-centered care is the foundation for nursing care, with service excellence and professional nursing standards guiding practice. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Its services include open heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care. Requirements
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- RQI BLS and ACLS required.
- Complete the BLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required ECC Healthcare Provider courses before working in a clinical setting; these courses are provided during new-hire orientation or upon transfer.
- Successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
- One year of full-time experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
