About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides patient care and service activities and procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. The CNA performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This position is associated with ED Holds at Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Requirements
- Complete the education or experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
- Hold a current CNA license in the State of Nevada.
- Hold current BLS certification.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care and service to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit or department.
