About The Position

Munson Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for its D4 Orthopedics inpatient unit in Traverse City, Michigan. The 24-bed unit primarily cares for adults recovering from total hip, knee, or shoulder replacements, and also treats stable trauma patients, joint revisions, and fractures. Nurses work alongside orthopedic specialists and may use advanced technology, including ROSA, a robotic surgical assistant. This is a demanding and fulfilling role caring for patients at different stages of life and contributing to their healing and recovery. Team members should be flexible, open toward diverse lifestyles, and prepared to address complex patient needs while maintaining a calm and caring demeanor in an environment that can be unpredictable. The position is full-time on the night shift. Munson Healthcare requires employees to be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. Employees must also receive an annual flu vaccine or have an approved medical or religious exemption.

Requirements

Hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
Have 2 years of relevant experience.
Have a diploma or ADN and obtain a BSN within 5 years.
Meet Munson Healthcare vaccination or approved exemption requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a specific clinical area, such as Med/Surg, ICU, or OB, is preferred.
