About The Position

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for its D4 Orthopedics inpatient unit in Traverse City, Michigan. The 24-bed unit primarily cares for adults who have undergone total hip, knee, or shoulder replacements. Other patient populations include stable trauma patients, joint revisions, and fractures. Nurses work alongside orthopedic specialists and may work with ROSA, a robotic surgical assistant. This is a fulfilling and demanding role caring for patients at all stages of life. Care team members should be flexible, open to diverse lifestyles, and committed to helping people. They must be prepared to meet complex patient needs and maintain a calm, caring demeanor in an environment that can be unpredictable. Nurses play an important part in patients’ healing and recovery. The position is in Traverse City, Michigan. Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. Employees must also receive an annual flu vaccine or have an approved medical or religious exemption.

Requirements

Hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
Have 2 years of relevant experience.
Have a diploma or ADN and obtain a BSN within 5 years.
Meet Munson Healthcare vaccination requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza, or qualify for an approved exemption where applicable.
