About The Position

Rocky Mountain Care - Evanston is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its skilled nursing facility in Evanston, Wyoming. The role delivers care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Responsibilities include assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and other personnel involved in nursing care. Shift differentials are paid for NOC and weekend shifts.

Requirements

Hold a current, unencumbered, active Registered Nurse license to practice in Wyoming; the posting also references a compact license.
Demonstrate clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
Be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Know nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
Have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
Have a basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrate decision-making and analytical skills.
Relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
Have a positive attitude and a desire to work with the aging population.

Responsibilities

Assess resident needs.
Develop individual resident care plans.
