About The Position

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates proficiency and mastery in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organization, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN delivers patient- and family-centered care in a culturally competent manner, using and promoting evidence-based practice standards for quality, safety, and service.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license.
• Seven months of RN experience in stepdown, IMCU, or Progressive Care.
• Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• RNs hired with an Associate degree must complete a BSN within three years of their hire date.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in the area of practice preferred.
