About The Position
The Certified Respiratory Therapist 2 demonstrates respiratory clinical skills and knowledge in the management of adult and pediatric patients. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership and support in maintaining working relationships with internal and external customers. The therapist continually evaluates and monitors services to assure quality patient care. The position may participate in hospital-wide committees and respiratory care activities throughout Baptist Health and must communicate effectively with all team members. The estimated pay range is $33.75–$43.88 per hour, depending on experience. The role is full-time, with a 7 p.m.–7 a.m. schedule, and offers a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Active Certified Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card or CPR card.
- ACLS and PALS, as required by department standards.
- High school, certificate, GED, training, or experience listed as qualifying education.
