About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist demonstrates respiratory clinical skills and knowledge in managing adult and pediatric patients. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership and support, maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, and communicate effectively with team members. The therapist continually evaluates and monitors services to assure quality patient care and may participate in hospital-wide committees and respiratory care activities throughout Baptist Health. The position is full-time, with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. schedule at the New Emergency Center in Pembroke Pines. Estimated pay is $33.75–$43.88 per hour, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 is advertised; bonus eligibility and amounts are subject to the terms stated in the posting.

Requirements

• Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card/CPR card.
• ACLS and PALS, as required by department standards.
• Minimum of 2 years of required experience.
• High school, certificate, GED, training, or experience listed under degrees.
