About The Position

The Clinical Partner provides basic technical nursing skills for which they have been deemed competent and performs delegated tasks, such as wound care and discontinuing a saline lock or Foley catheter, under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse. The role follows the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida statutes, and Baptist Health South Florida policy. As a member of the nursing team, the Clinical Partner works closely with the assigned RN to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. Assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on patient care cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel.

The estimated pay range is $18.15–$23.60 per hour, depending on experience. The posting lists a sign-on bonus of up to $4,000.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum required experience: 2 years.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida is preferred.
