About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon. This is a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift, working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in 12-hour shifts. The listed compensation is $1,900 to $2,154 weekly gross, with a blended hourly rate of $55 to $60, weekly taxable pay of $954, and a weekly non-taxable stipend of $1,246.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED/ER) registered nurse experience.
• Recent Emergency Department experience.
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years.
• Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification, or must obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• PALS or ENPC certification, or must obtain one within 1 year of hire.
• TNCC certification, or must obtain it within 1 year of hire.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Organization-approved workplace violence training within the specified orientation/grace period.

Nice To Haves

• CEN or equivalent emergency nursing certification.
• Strong acute care emergency nursing experience.
• Experience managing high-acuity Emergency Department patients.
