About The Position

Gaudenzia is seeking a dedicated, caring nurse to work directly with clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders and mental health stabilization. The role focuses on nursing care in a treatment setting and involves little to no bedside care. Nurses must use sound clinical judgment, follow policies and procedures, and work collaboratively to support clients during a critical time of need. The position is PRN, with various shifts and hours, including 12-hour day or night shifts. PRN employees are required to work at least three shifts per month. Depending on program staffing needs, nurses may work at other programs at sites with multiple programs. The role may also require shifts outside assigned hours during critical staffing shortages, rotating weekend coverage, holiday coverage, and work during inclement weather. Gaudenzia’s mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.
