About The Position

Gaudenzia is seeking a dedicated and caring nurse to work directly with clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders and mental health stabilization. This role offers an opportunity to move away from bedside nursing; the position involves little to no bedside care and is not medical-surgical, ICU, or critical care nursing. Nurses support clients during a critical time of need by applying sound clinical judgment, following policies and procedures, and working collaboratively as part of a team. Gaudenzia's mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances. The position pays $44–$48 per hour and includes on-the-job training, opportunities for upward mobility, educational assistance, and benefits. The position works day shifts of 12 hours. It requires rotating weekend coverage, including one off shift per week, and may require coverage outside assigned shifts during critical staffing shortages. Staff must work designated major summer and winter holidays, with other holidays rotated among staff. This essential position requires work during inclement weather. At sites with multiple programs, nurses may be assigned to any program based on staffing needs. For PRN positions, three shifts per month are required.
