About The Position

Hope Clinic for Women is a faith-based, life-affirming organization seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Women's Health Clinic. This part-time position requires working one day per week (6.5 hours) and offers the opportunity to learn limited obstetric sonography. The role involves providing compassionate care and support to women in the community within a collaborative, mission-driven team environment.

Requirements

  • Current RN or BSN license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • At least one year of nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willing to complete Limited Obstetric Ultrasound Training and sign a retention agreement.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and standard office software.
  • Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused.

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to learn limited obstetric sonography.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient intakes and assess patient needs.
  • Perform pregnancy testing and explain results and procedures.
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with the Medical Director's standing orders.
  • Conduct laboratory testing as directed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Clean and maintain medical instruments and supplies.
  • Assist with chart audits and other nursing duties as assigned.
  • Attend required medical meetings and continuing education.
  • Perform limited obstetric ultrasound examinations (training provided).
  • Accurately identify and document sonographic findings.
  • Communicate results to the Medical Director or supervising physician.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies.
  • Complete annual competency assessments and continuing education requirements.
