About The Position
Valley View's Women's Health Clinic is looking for a Clinic RN to join our team! This position offers an excellent $8,000 retention bonus, with $4,000 paid after one year of employment and $4,000 after the second year. OB/Gyn experience is preferred. The role involves planning and coordinating quality nursing care, providing leadership, and supporting the philosophy and goals of the clinical area and the shared governance vision of Valley View Hospital.
Requirements
- Current RN license in state of Colorado (DORA)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association – AHA)
- Good public relations skills.
- Clerical skills, i.e., telephone communication, filing, bill collecting and scheduling appointments.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred. AHA
- Previous clinical experience preferred but will require “on the job” training.
- Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.
- OB/Gyn experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
- Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area.
- Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital.
