About The Position

The Registered Nurse, Med/Surg Tele, is a FirstChoice mobile staffing role with Trinity Health. FirstChoice nurses fill short- and long-term assignments across the health system, with local, regional, and nationwide opportunities. This assignment is at Trinity Health Oakland for 13 weeks, starting ASAP, with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) and a gross hourly rate of $66. The nurse may be required to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions. The role applies professional nursing practice from assessment and outcomes identification through planning, implementation, and evaluation; practices independently within licensure, knowledge, and experience; and remains accountable for delegation, decisions, and outcomes. The nurse collaborates with stakeholders, contributes to quality improvement, adapts to new responsibilities and ideas, and manages competing priorities while respecting cultural differences.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least 18 months of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or PCU.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
