About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, employing Registered Nurses for short- and long-term assignments across its health system. This Med/Surg Tele RN assignment is at Trinity Health Ann Arbor for 13 weeks, with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The role requires flexibility to float throughout the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least 18 months of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or PCU.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area; BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and, when needed, across multiple hospital locations or regions.
Perform the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Act independently and appropriately within the RN license and the scope of knowledge and experience in the practice area.
Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
