About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, providing short- and long-term nursing assignments across the health system. This local contract role is for an RN in Med/Surg, with Med/Surg/Tele practice identified in the posting. The assignment is at Trinity Health Muskegon, is 13 weeks long, and is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The stated gross hourly rate is $66, and the start date is ASAP. The nurse may be required to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The RN practices independently within their license, knowledge, experience, and scope of practice; remains accountable for delegation and clinical decisions; collaborates with stakeholders to support quality and improvement; and adapts to changing responsibilities, new ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med/Surg, Tele, and PCU roles.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions as needed.
Apply the professional-practice process of assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Practice independently and appropriately within licensure, scope of knowledge, experience, and practice area.
