About The Position

The Registered Nurse Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team, the RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans. The role offers opportunities to influence patient care through collaboration with a direct manager, hospital councils, and national nursing initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with Las Palmas Medical Center policies and procedures and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans.
