About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides direct clinical patient care in the PCU or IMCU. The nurse assesses, plans, and implements care for assigned patients on a per-shift and unit-level basis, and supervises staff to whom care is delegated. The position is accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The nurse may support facilities throughout the market as needed. The position is based at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, with local and travel contract options. Contracts are 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week available and PM shifts. The listed local contract rate is $65 per hour; travel contracts are approximately $2,200 per week. Contract rates may change with market conditions and should be confirmed with a recruiter at signing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Two years of acute care experience, including at least one year of current experience in PCU or IMCU.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law, regulation, or policy in the state of practice.
- AHA BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
