About The Position

Main Line Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery–Mother Baby Nursing Team at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, Pennsylvania. The unit handles more than 2,200 births annually and includes 28 postpartum rooms, 12 labor rooms, and two operating rooms. Couplets can remain together after birth. Nurses care for labor and postpartum patients in collaboration with Lactation Consultants, OB Technicians, Maternal Child Technicians, and physicians. The role contributes to safe, high-quality clinical care and a superior patient experience as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Schedule options listed include full-time, part-time with benefits, per diem, and a weekend program consisting of Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts, with a premium rate of pay. Per diem options are 36 hours per six weeks for Tier I and 72 hours per six weeks for Tier 2.

Requirements

• One year of recent acute care nursing experience is required.
• RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Pennsylvania RN license required.
• Must be able to wear a respirator as a job requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Labor and Delivery and/or Mother Baby experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
