About The Position

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery. This per diem role requires the ability to pick up shifts at both the Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed. The minimum per diem commitment is four shifts in a six-week period. The position offers an RN orientation program and the possibility of future full-time opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence during Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
