About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients at Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg, Illinois. The RN works within the appropriate scope of practice, under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. Evening and night shifts are available. Starting pay is $49.68 per hour.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
