About The Position

Redwood Terrace in Escondido, California, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Skilled Nursing team. The role is full-time on the PM shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and includes benefits. The hourly pay range is $45.00–$55.00, depending on experience.

The nurse helps maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors, supports residents’ daily rhythms, performs comprehensive nursing evaluations and assessments, initiates plans of care as needed, and supervises resident care. The nurse also coordinates assignments with care partners and holds team members accountable for resident care and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state where applying.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Current or prior nursing experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or sub-acute senior care is preferred.
• Current or prior ADON, Charge Nurse, or nursing supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors while supporting residents’ daily life rhythms.
• Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations and assessments.
• Initiate plans of care as needed and appropriately supervise resident care.
• Develop assignments in coordination with care partners and keep team members accountable for resident care and satisfaction.
