About The Position

Redwood Terrace in Escondido, California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Skilled Nursing team. The RN helps ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors, supports residents’ daily routines, conducts comprehensive nursing evaluations and assessments, initiates and supervises plans of care, and coordinates assignments with care partners while supporting accountability for resident care and satisfaction. Current or prior ADON or RN management experience is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Hold a current RN license in the state where applying.
• Hold current CPR certification.
• Current or prior nursing experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or sub-acute senior care is preferred.
• Current or prior ADON, Charge Nurse, or nursing supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in residents’ daily life rhythms.
• Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations and assessments.
• Initiate plans of care as needed and appropriately supervise resident care.
• Develop assignments in coordination with care partners and keep team members accountable for resident care and satisfaction.
