About The Position
Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is a rapidly growing, multi-state spine and joint care organization providing integrated clinical, surgical, and imaging services. Its care teams serve Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. SSJC is seeking a self-motivated Registered Nurse passionate about exceptional patient care to join the full-time team at its Lawrenceville clinic. The Registered Nurse manages assigned patient care using appropriate knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making. The role provides evidence-based care, monitors and documents patient status, communicates with physicians and specialists, and educates and supports patients and their families.
Requirements
- Hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing in the state of Georgia.
- Hold BLS and ALS/ACLS certifications.
- Be familiar with medical software and equipment.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage care for assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making appropriate to the area and patient population.
- Deliver patient care using standardized evidence-based guidelines and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
- Administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Educate patients on care plans and provide emotional support and advice to patients and family members.
