About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PACU role. The position requires at least one year of RN experience in an ICU or PACU. Nurses in this role develop skills in time management, patient assessment, prioritization of care, and patient and family education. The role is part-time, scheduled for two 12-hour shifts from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It includes one holiday per year and 12–24 hours of call every six weeks. The position is referral eligible and qualifies for a location differential.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience in an ICU or PACU.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree.
• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates who did not graduate from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of acute care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required depending on unit or department specialty and patient care policies.
