About The Position
CaroMont Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to assigned hospital patients in a psychiatry setting. The nurse collaborates with medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care, follows approved policies and guides, and supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel. The care approach emphasizes individualized care plans and supporting patients in achieving and maintaining mental wellness goals.
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in North Carolina, or a multi-state compact license.
- Meet general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
- Maintain BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Recent acute care experience within the past 3 years is preferred.
- Psychiatry experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care.
- Perform activities in accordance with approved policies and guides.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.
Benefits
- Sign-on bonus up to $13,000, based on experience.
