RN | Acute Care Unit (ACU)
About The Position
Logan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its 40-bed Acute Care Unit (ACU), a fast-paced setting caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and treatment needs, including COPD, CHF, diabetes, sepsis, kidney failure, dementia, GI bleeds, and wound care needs. The role involves direct patient care and may include charge nurse duties based on unit staffing and operational needs. Nurses work with a high volume of admissions and discharges and collaborate across disciplines to help patients progress toward recovery and discharge. The unit offers an environment focused on clinical excellence, person-centered care, shared governance, professional development, and a journey toward Magnet recognition. The schedule is 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour day shifts. Schedules may be adjusted to accommodate position and organizational needs. Inpatient RN wages start at $41.78 per hour, with higher starting rates based on experience.
Requirements
- Current Montana RN license or compact license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Compassion for geriatric and medically complex patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Experience as an RN; the posting seeks experienced RNs.
