Registered Nurse - Pre Admission Test
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Pre Admission Test department coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse is accountable to ethical and professional standards defined by the ANA Code for Nurses, the ANA Nursing’s Social Policy Statement, the State of Michigan Public Health Code, and ANA and specialty nursing standards of clinical practice. The nurse is also accountable for adhering to standards set by regulatory agencies, including the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), Conditions of Participation of the Healthcare Finance Administration (HCFA), and Michigan Occupational Health and Safety (MIOSHA). These accountabilities require competence in nursing practice and responsible acceptance of individual actions and judgments.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved registered nursing program.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
