Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Admission Testing
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in Pre-Admission Testing uses critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse also assists with organizing patient care activities as assigned. Florida Coast Medical Center is opening in fall 2025 and will serve communities along Florida’s Treasure Coast. Its services will include surgical care, neurosciences, orthopedic and spine surgery, cardiac catheterization and heart care, vascular surgery, cancer care, and urology. Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
- Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient or ambulatory experience preferred.
- Chemotherapy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs.
- Develop a written plan of care using assessment data.
- Implement the nursing care plan.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to interventions.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Assist in organizing patient care activities.
