About The Position

Seeking a flexible, team-oriented Registered Nurse to provide dual coverage across the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) units. This role requires rapid adaptability, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to seamlessly float between ER and Med/Surg departments based on real-time facility and patient census needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an Emergency Room Nurse required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.
• CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required upon hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Required within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality nursing care across both ER and Med/Surg clinical environments as assigned.
• Assess, prioritize, and manage care for acute emergency presentations as well as medical-surgical inpatients.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, providers, and auxiliary staff across all facility departments.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality, respectful communication, and accountability for all work output.
