About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology at Ft. Thomas Hospital. Under the direction of a qualified Interventional Radiologist, the nurse monitors and assists with procedures for adult patients receiving emergency, medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and invasive services. The role supports accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment while maintaining patient safety and high-quality, efficient, personalized care for patients, families, visitors, and employees, with respect for each individual's dignity and physical, psychological, sociological, cultural, and spiritual needs. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, first-shift position.

Requirements

Hold a nursing license in the state where the work will be performed.
If eligible, hold a Compact (multi-state) license in the primary state of residence.
Have CPR and ACLS certifications.
Have ECG rhythm interpretation skills and knowledge of critical care medications.
Be competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
Successfully complete preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
Be able to critically think and solve problems in routine and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assist with Interventional Radiology procedures for adult patients under the direction of a qualified Interventional Radiologist.
