Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
About The Position
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for an inpatient role in Interventional Radiology. The nurse delivers skilled, high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients, supporting their health and functional recovery. This includes assessing patient needs, administering medications, providing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions. The nurse collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans and prepares patients and families for discharge to home or another care setting. The role calls for clinical expertise, strong communication, and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Current Washington State RN license.
- One or more years of recent RN experience with acute care patients, ICU, or procedural care.
- CPR certification, renewed every two years or as specified by the work.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required by the date of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- PALS certification preferred, to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Current ICU experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience starting IVs is preferred.
- BSN or MSN preferred.
