Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology at Ft. Thomas Hospital. Under the direction of a qualified Interventional Radiologist, the nurse monitors and assists with procedures on adult patients requiring emergency, medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and invasive services. The goal is to support accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment while maintaining patient safety and providing high-quality, efficient, and personalized care. The nurse serves patients, families, visitors, and employees while respecting each individual's dignity and physical, psychological, sociological, cultural, and spiritual needs. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week on the first shift.
Requirements
- Hold a nursing license in the state where the work will be performed.
- If eligible, hold a Compact (multi-state) License in the primary state of residence.
- Have CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Have knowledge of ECG rhythm interpretation and critical care medications.
- Be competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
- Successfully complete the facility and clinical-area preceptorship and orientation.
- Be able to think critically and solve problems in routine and emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist with interventional radiology procedures on adult patients under the direction of a qualified Interventional Radiologist.
- Support emergency, medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and invasive services that contribute to accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment.
- Maintain maximum patient safety and provide high-quality, efficient, and personalized care.
- Respect the dignity and physical, psychological, sociological, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients, families, visitors, and employees.
