Registered Nurse | Allergy & Asthma Clinic
About The Position
The Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse provides care to patients in a clinic setting as a valued member of the healthcare team. The RN makes independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider, applies technical nursing skills and evidence-based interventions to provide age-appropriate care to patients and families, and collaborates with other healthcare team members when assistance is needed. The RN supports and implements patient-safety and other applicable safety practices and maintains professional competencies for practice. This is a full-time position in St. Cloud, working 72 hours every two weeks on a day-shift schedule, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fridays, weekends, and holidays are off. Pay is based on experience and degree, with a stated range of $38.76–$64.67 per hour.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Minnesota.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider card, as required by established policy.
- Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders, and medication orders and communicate information to patients and hospital staff.
