About The Position

The RN Float provides clinical support across multiple departments, clinics, or provider teams as needed. The role includes rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting with examinations and procedures, administering medications and injections as directed, documenting in the electronic medical record, and supporting patient care while adapting to various work locations and providers. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position floats between Deaconess Allergy EAST in Evansville, Indiana, and Deaconess Allergy in Owensboro, Kentucky. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift, with no weekends or holidays. The posted base pay range is $26.04–$36.45, with an additional premium paid above the base rate.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Hold a compact Indiana/Kentucky RN license.
• Have a valid driver's license in good standing and a satisfactory driving record.
• Hold CPR provider certification.
• Demonstrate flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
