About The Position

The Specialty Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor, and Practice Manager. The LPN anticipates patients’ needs and symptoms and provides care under the physician’s direction. Duties include preparing patients for exams, assisting with treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in the medical record. The LPN also helps educate patients and families and demonstrates the competency and skills needed to serve patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Practical or Vocational Nursing Diploma.
• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
• Current BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross before the hire date.

Responsibilities
