About The Position

The Registered Nurse will provide pediatric nursing care. Candidates must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty they are applying for, including experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care. A permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact-state license must be in hand. BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required. During orientation, the nurse will complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments and must achieve acceptable scores on both.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty being applied for.
• Experience with tracheostomy care.
• Experience with ventilator care.
• Experience with central line care.
• A permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact-state license in hand.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
