About The Position

The Registered Nurse on the 4th Floor Telemetry provides direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge. The role is accountable for reviewing and documenting care provided, care outcomes, and care evaluations. The nurse follows professional standards of care and applies evidence, professional standards, and best practices to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. The nurse prioritizes care based on changing assessments and patient needs.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience in the specialty.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
